Communicating As A Way To Slow Down Aging
By Ivaylo77

Can you find the ability to accept the facts? Do you find it easy to admit to yourself when something bad happens. Because this is a very important quality. Only when you say "Well, this happened. Now what?", you will become unstoppable. Because you are always doing your best in the present moment instead of seeing yourself as a victim of the curcumstances.

If you learn how to accept the things in your life, you will become happier about your life. Your relationships will improve, your job performance will follow. Everybody enjoys spending time with people who are comfortable about themselves.

Basically the skill of accepting can be divided into 3-4 subskills. Can you change yourself and your life if you see a reason to do so? Do you accept who you are regardless of what other people might think of you? Can you accept people for who they are without having the need to change them? Do you feel comfortable when some big change in your life happens?

If you answered yes to even one of those questions, your life is already

A Guide For Choosing The Right Psychotherapist for You
By Gloria Arenson

Some people think that going to a therapist is like going to a car mechanic: they expect the therapist to diagnose a specific problem and fix it just as the mechanic puts in new brake pads or readjusts the carburetor. These clients expect something to happen to them. That is not the case. Don't expect the other person to have all the answers. Therapists don't come with crystal balls. You have the answers. They are already within you. The psychotherapist helps you discover those answers as you examine your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I think of therapy as education. In therapy you may learn new skills to help you communicate better, decrease difficulties in your life and increase benefits.

Don't be afraid to shop around for a good match between you and your therapist. No matter how well trained the therapist is, if you are not at ease with her or willing to talk about personal problems or feelings, you will be wasting your money. Trust your intuition.

When my daughter was a teenager I was a single parent in a quandary

Understand The Psychology Of Why People Buy
By Forest Marie

One of the most important tips to succeed in Network and Internet Marketing (or business in general) is to understand the psychology of why people buy.

Human psychology is a fascinating subject and if you ever master it, you can, as the rich do, create money. Just make sure you do it with a rock solid product, service or idea that delivers a lot of value or entertainment to your customer.

That being said, there are psychological triggers that make people buy products and services with little or no hesitation. You want to know what they are, so lets begin with some questions:

Why do you buy products or services?

Why do I buy products or services?

People are very different and buy for different reasons.

But there is one central theme driving those reasons and that is this:

People buy a solution to a problem.

Really, it is that easy.

But lets expand a little further and talk about some of the most popular and appealing problems people buy solutions for.

Ready? OK,

Deciding Where to Go for Counseling and Psychotherapy-From Mount Prospect, Volo and Marengo
By Mike Shery

A client-focused counseling practice can provide a variety of benefits to you. Look for one who treats other healthcare professionals and has an outstanding reputation.

Such a therapist will provide advice on all aspects of mental health and psychiatric care. Importantly, a client-focused therapist or counselor often provides a far better level of care and information than other mental health professionals.

He or she will often provide same day, weekend and evening appointments as well as phone consultations when needed. Other providers of psychological services often require you to wait several days to several weeks for an appointment and many will not provide consultations by phone or on weekends.

All Of Your Mental Health Needs

Client-focused counselors often do not stop at simply providing appointments. They can in fact take care of many related needs, including providing suggestions for books, DVDs and tapes that would help you.

There are many other ways to speed-up the counseling process, including the taking of herbs and supplements that have been scientifically demonstrated to reduce anxiety and

The Psychology Of Board Games
By Victor Epand

A great deal of psychological study has been placed in the realm of figuring out what it is about board games which makes us, as people, so devoted and loving of the activity. What exactly is it about the brain that makes it so attached to the activity of competing against each other to solve a problem and win the game? A great deal of it relates to the way that we, as humans, have grown over time and both the value that we place on certain ideals and the deficiencies that we try to make up for in our daily lives. Board games offer us a chance to fulfill many of these needs and because of this, they have maintained a place in our culture for quite some time.

The types of challenges presented from board games come in the form of activities, challenges, and puzzles that we feel that we are qualified to handle. It is a challenge which requires some skill, but they are skills that we feel that we are qualified to operate. Playing a game against a well-matched opponent
