Laughter Can Be A Medicine!
By Kenneth Scott

Research scientists have spent considerable time investigating the effects of laughter. They have found that laughter can help patients recover from illnesses because it tends to lower blood pressure, reduce stress hormone levels, and recharges the bodys immune system.

Laughter is also known to release a bodys natural painkilling substances to provide an overall feeling of well-being. This is a result of stimulating blood flow and aiding the heart.

Laughter also helps to control insulin levels and blood sugars, and while scientists do not recommend that patients quit their diets or exercise regimens, they do say that laughing definitely helps.

Doctors have discovered that laughter also has an effect on viruses, bacteria, cancer and heart disease. They determined that their patients boosted their immune systems just by watching funny videos and movies.

A Fit Mind Is A Fulfilled Life
By Kevin Sinclair

There is one activity that every one of us should be doing every day and that is meditation. As you look at your day, the demands that are placed on you and the never ending "To Do" list you may scoff at the idea of taking time to meditate. Did you know that daily meditation can help reduce stress, and improve your overall physical and mental health? All you have to do is take the time, five minutes, and your mind will begin to function at the highest performance levels, staying mentally fit and strong.

Looking Great And Feeling Great
By Bill Romanowski

There is definitely a great correlation between the way one looks and the way they feel. Studies have shown that low self esteem usually creeps in early in the life of a child who, lets say, is teased about his appearance at school.

Fortunately or unfortunately, society has set standards for way people should look. The media is awash with images of ideal persons who have just the right look in terms of height, weight and general appearance. Nowhere is this more emphasized than in the entertainment world of actors, actresses, super-models and athletes most of who sport sleek well-sculptured bodies. Today, self-esteem is tied to one's appearance and this is also fueled by clothing fads and latest trends.

Trends in clothing, make-up and general appearance fuel the way people feel about themselves. Media psychology dictates that people want to be seen as being "in" or "trendy" and these trends are definitely set by entertainers, mostly the rich and the famous. The Hollywood lifestyle has permeated every strand of society and such names as Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton, and Britney Spears are allowed to
